This is a no-experience-necessary class designed for individuals looking to try something new and get a taste of what knife-making is all about.

Students will make high-carbon rail road spike knives of their own design and have the opportunity to use industrial machinery specific to the knife-making trade.

Price includes all materials and PPE such as gloves, safety glasses, earplugs and dust masks.

This is a full day class (9am-4pm) with an hour break for lunch — lunch is not provided. You are expected to wear closed-toe shoes and clothing that can get damaged. Feel free to bring any other protective equipment you would like to use as well as enough water and snacks to make it through the day.

This class is limited to two students per session.
